Internal bleaching

If your tooth is discolored (oftentimes due to a history of trauma), we can offer cosmetic help after the root canal. We first consult with your general dentist to determine their plan for your tooth and if internal bleaching is appropriate, then we can proceed. The whitening process takes several short sessions where a "bleaching" material is placed inside of the tooth and allowed to whiten the tooth over a period of 1-2 weeks. You then return for the whitening material to be rinsed out and replaced with a new batch. This process may be repeated 1-3 times until the desired whiteness is attained.
